Poor

It failed to work just after 6 months and i was told its 2 weeks outside of warranty. No refund offered, just an apology. Not good! :(

Wattage reduces to 49W at 50% battery?

I bought an ipower 2 just a few days ago and, upon the battery reaching 50% charge for the first time, the device reduced the wattage to 49W every time I tried to fire the mod. Also, the message "low battery" appeared on the screen each time i fired the device. I had been using the device at 60W, using the Smok TFV mini v2 tank. Is this reduction in wattage at 50% battery normal? Is this a built in feature which is supposed to help save battery life? Or do I have a faulty device? Because it's so annoying.

Hi Daniel. I am going to arrange for a member of our customer services team to give you a call, we can then go through some troubleshooting with you and one way or another we will get this all resolved for you for sure. Thanks Mick Eleaf UK
better to call this mod 'quickly loses power'

i'm having the same problem as the other reviewer, i've bought 2 of these mods - one for me and one for my girlfriend, we both use the cleito pro tanks with 0.15 ohm coils at 65 watts (the coil is rated 60 - 75 watts and says that on the coils) - but with both of these mods - as soon as the battery level reduces to 52% -the power output reduces to 48.7 watts, ive tried using both smart mode and power mode and its the same, i i drop the expected wattage to 50 watts they'll output 50 watts but anything above that and they both drop below, ive seen this mentioned on a review and found other people trying to find a solution for the same problem so i dont think we have faulty units but its a design fault and maybe software related, is there a firmwarre update i can apply? this is a real shame because i love the look and feel of the units and i dont have this problem with a previous version of the ipower i still have, makes me wonder what went wrong....

Hi Richard, Thanks for your review, I'm really sorry to hear you are unhappy with the device, With regulated battery mods like the iStick devices, as the battery depletes thorough usage, the amount of stress placed on the battery increases. The lower the battery's remaining voltage, the harder it has to work to deliver the amount of voltage required by the customer. So if using a higher wattage, when the battery physically cannot deliver the wattage set, the wattage will drop automatically. Rest assured this is normal for most e-cigarettes and I hope this explains the feature in a little more detail for you, There are currently no firmware or software updates available for the iStick Power 2 however should any become available these can be found via: https://www.eleafworld.com/?s=software Thanks, Eleaf UK Customer Service
